2018 Chair Speaks at PCMA Canada Innovation Conference

On the 20th of November, 2018, Heidi Welker, attended the PCMA Canada Innovation Conference 2018 in Victoria Conference Centre.

Our 2018 Chair had the opportunity to showcase Meetings Mean Business Canada's accomplishments, future plans and the importance of face-to-face meetings.

"Events like this are proof that great things happen when people come together. Face-to-face interaction is the platform on which deals are struck, relationships are forged, and ideas are generated.

That’s what Meetings Mean Business Canada is all about: showing the real power of what business meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, trade shows and exhibitions collectively do for people, businesses and communities.

What are Meetings Mean Business Canada's goals for 2018?

•We want to be the advocacy voice/platform for the Business Events Industry in Canada and align our efforts to work in tandem with TIAC.

• We want to continue growing our coalition and provide deliverable updates to the regions.

We have close to 150 Supporters on our website. One of our biggest achievements is the support we have received from the Convention Centres across Canada and their respective association. The Presidents and CEOs of these venues are committed to the success of this coalition."
